I’ve got hoes in different area codes – Christopher Bridges

I was sitting in the living room a few days ago catching up with my roommate Amy, sharing the spoils of my day as it were.  The details of the conversation aren’t important, but she said something that stuck with me: “You have so many talented friends.”  I didn’t put much thought into it then, mostly because I wasn’t paying much attention to her, but over the last few days it’s been echoing louder and louder and has just about broke the sound barrier of my mind.

It’s so true, I do.  They are all over the place: geographically, focus, age, etc.  But so many of them are so talented (and for those of you who aren’t, here’s a friendly ‘Fuck you’ for bringing down the average).  So amazingly enough, the friends that I love so much and worked so hard to get away from have provided the long needed motivation for me to kick off my pants.

Here’s to all that remains to be seen.
